Building Unit Guider Skills
This training is one of the five New Guider Learning Path trainings. Complete all five and earn your Red Training pin.
This training will provide new Unit Guiders with an overview of their role, how to use the girl-driven approach to Guiding, and strategies to engage girls in planning and decision-making.
Additionally, new Unit Guiders will learn how to construct an effective unit meeting and learn the components of the program that ensure girls have fun in Guiding.
Past participants have said they felt better prepared to plan and lead their unit meetings and recommended this training to any new Guider.
This training is interactive and fun, it's best if you can join on a computer if at all possible.
Human resource planning is an important role for an organization. Vital functions such as recruitment, selection, and succession planning are major functions of the human resource plan. Describe different training and performance management techniques and styles. With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to utilize elements of a plan to support your supervisory efforts.
Your classes are scheduled for certain dates and times, and students are expected to be in class, online, during the dates/times noted. All your course activity is done online and there is no requirement to be on campus. This course section is NOT setup to be accessed at flexible times by students.
