GPS and Location-based Service for GIS

Learn the basic principles and theories of GPS and build in-depth knowledge and appreciation of the challenges associated with using GPS for navigation and data acquisition. Classroom exercises demonstrate the possibilities of using information collected with GPS. Outdoor field labs let you use a variety of GPS brands and grades for relevant and practical tasks.
